Most of my memories of Penang involved eating amazing street food (some of the best in Malaysia) and hanging out at Golden Sands Hotel by the pool. I don’t remember George Town much, but I’ve been told that it has changed a lot in recent years. One big change being that there is now a lot of street art proudly displayed throughout the old streets.

My relatives were kind enough to give us a tour of some of the most popular pieces of art, and it felt like there was a new one around every corner. Four days was definitely not enough time to take everything in.
